These might be good for a narrow heel but be aware that they are also tight around the ball of the foot. They look sturdy and I would have accepted the light color because of the price, but darker would be better for appearance. I ordered up a half size, I would have needed a size and a half larger, and didn't want to risk it, so they are going back. I'll try keens.
