A doctor once told me I was a boy/men 5.5 E but that translates to a 7.5 E women’s size. Hardly any women’s shoes are ever wide enough, even if I size up to a woman’s 8 w. I first ordered a model of these shoes in a men’s 6/women’s 8. They were way too roomy and I sent them back. The next time I ordered something I decided to take a gamble on a men’s 5/ women’s 7. A size I have not worn for 10 years. These Oboz s foam mules are refreshingly wide enough. Therefore sizin up for width is not necessary. My ring and pinky toes finally have wiggle room. The women’s wide hiking shoes are not nearly wide enough in comparison. My feet are so happy. I am going to order the other remaining colors of this style while I can.
