  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Love the quilt, not the quality

Beautiful design but the quilt sent to us had a faint stain on it, possibly from dye, and the string was fraying in many places so we returned it.

This is a high quality quilt, well made the queen size fits my bed well. The design is bold and whimsical. I wish they had the shams too!
  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. These must be seconds

Great quilt and nice quality, but the first one I received had a 2' x 1" long bluish "smear" across the front. STP resent a new one, but it had a similar bluish stain, though in a less obvious place, so I kept it, hoping it will wash out. It's not clear whether this is a result of dirt that rubbed off on the fold, or what, but two out of two suggests "seconds" to me. The matching pillow shams (separate order),however, were fine.

About Pendleton

The history of Pendleton blankets dates back to the mid-19th century, when a young man named Thomas Kay travelled west to Oregon and opened a mill in Salem. Kay’s grandchildren eventually went on to establish a mill in Pendleton, Oregon, which crafted blankets and robes for American Indians living in the region, including the Nez Perce, Navajo and Hopi nations. By the early 20th century, the Pendleton clothing line was expanded to include suiting and apparel, including the now legendary Pendleton virgin wool shirt. Today, this renowned American brand owns and operates seven manufacturing facilities as well as 75 Pendleton retail stores.
