Most Helpful 4-Star Review

4.0 out of 5 stars. big, a little tipsy, but fine for a quick wet jaunt

Nicely made; seems that they'll last a while. I wear 7.5/8 in shoes, so I got an 8 in these, and they are big. I can wear them with a thicker sock, and that's ok. Not a walking shoe, but great for what I wanted: being outside in or after rain just to take out the compost or put something in the garage or a 6-minute walk on a gravel road to the mailbox. The heel is a bit narrow, so these do want to turn sideways on larger pieces of gravel. But fine for a quick, wet jaunt.

About Pendleton

The history of Pendleton blankets dates back to the mid-19th century, when a young man named Thomas Kay travelled west to Oregon and opened a mill in Salem. Kay’s grandchildren eventually went on to establish a mill in Pendleton, Oregon, which crafted blankets and robes for American Indians living in the region, including the Nez Perce, Navajo and Hopi nations. By the early 20th century, the Pendleton clothing line was expanded to include suiting and apparel, including the now legendary Pendleton virgin wool shirt. Today, this renowned American brand owns and operates seven manufacturing facilities as well as 75 Pendleton retail stores.
