The history of Pendleton blankets dates back to the mid-19th century, when a young man named Thomas Kay travelled west to Oregon and opened a mill in Salem. Kay’s grandchildren eventually went on to establish a mill in Pendleton, Oregon, which crafted blankets and robes for American Indians living in the region, including the Nez Perce, Navajo and Hopi nations. By the early 20th century, the Pendleton clothing line was expanded to include suiting and apparel, including the now legendary Pendleton virgin wool shirt. Today, this renowned American brand owns and operates seven manufacturing facilities as well as 75 Pendleton retail stores.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Not as great quality as I would’ve likedReviewed by Dee from Colorado on Sunday, July 5, 2026I was disappointed to find a quality issue as soon as I opened the package. The six towels were secured together with numerous clear plastic tag gun fasteners inserted directly through the fabric. After removing them, I found visible pulls and damage where the fasteners had pierced the towels.
The packaging method itself damaged the towels before they were ever used. For a premium product, I hope Pendleton finds a better way to secure the set without compromising the fabric. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Love theseReviewed by Pghnurse from PA. on Sunday, May 3, 2026I bought a cover for a twin bed and added these pillows in front of the others for a daybed look. They are gorgeous and a steal at this price.

5.0 out of 5 stars. If You Like Green, Get These!Reviewed by LWademiller from Oregon on Friday, February 13, 2026Boots arrived today. Perfect timing; it's raining as I write this. Great quality. Beautiful color and fit like a dream. Such a deal! This kind of quality bargain is why I've been buying from STP for more than 20 years.
Pendleton Outlet: Due to limited quantities, not all products are available in our Retail Stores.
Pendleton Overstocks: inventory too high, had to be drastically reduced -- always first quality. Find out more about overstock items.
Pendleton Closeouts: may be last year's model or color -- always first quality. Find out more about closeouts.
Pendleton 2nds:
Cosmetic Blems or Irregulars. Minor cosmetic blemishes or slight irregularities
which do not affect the fit, performance, or longevity of the item. Label is
usually clipped or marked by the manufacturer. A small flaw means big savings.
