5.0 out of 5 stars. Heritage 1907Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from PA on Wednesday, October 31, 2018Second Redwing order from STP. Like last time, I was not disappointed. I cannot find a single defect in this boot to make it a 'second'. Great boot and great service!

5.0 out of 5 stars. 1907 BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rambo from Michigan on Friday, October 5, 2018Great price and well worth it for a very small buff mark on the outer side of one boot which is unnoticeable after leather oil treatment. With proper maintenance on the beautiful Red Wing rough and tough copper leather these boots will last a life time. Still breaking them in, but will be a perfect fit just like the many other Red Wing Boots I own.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Adam from Wisconsin on Thursday, September 27, 2018These are amazing boots for $100 of MSRP. I know 2nds usually have defects but I searched and cannot find any. I am assuming these were a return due to light scuffs on the side of one of the boots. Having owned a pair of Iron Rangers I know this leather will heal itself with a little conditioning. Thanks STP, now to break them in...

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice!!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from GA on Tuesday, September 4, 2018These are a really nice pair of boots. They are built like a tank. I am not sure of the soles longevity. We will see.
They are hard to break in. I thought I would have to return them but after a few indoor wears, I was good to go. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Could be betterVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from PA on Wednesday, August 29, 2018Noticeable wear on the shoe's upper section when it first came.
Left shoe tighter than the right one may be fixed after breaking in the shoe though.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great, Durable BootVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ian from Florida on Tuesday, August 14, 2018I was measured for these at an Official Red Wing Shoes store, and I ordered these factory seconds through STP due to the price. I'm extremely glad that I did as the only factory "defects" that they had included one or two slightly darker marks in the leather. The marks are hardly noticeable, most likely just areas where a belt hit, and they really just look like natural marks in the leather. I'm glad I ended up saving about $100.
They're very stiff out of the box, but they have already started to break in a little after their first day of wear. From what I've read, the whole break in process can take up to a few weeks. Despite that, they're pretty comfortable already and the stiffness really shows you the durability of the boot.
Also, the leather insoles that are included are optional (as stated by Red Wing, they typically recommend using them if you're in between sizes), and from what I've seen online, they're around a $40 value. The boots feel great with or without the insole, but I'm choosing to use them for now.
My only concern is that I fear that I've picked up a rather pricey hobby. I'll most likely be ordering more Red Wings in the future. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Rough & Tough CoppersVerified Buyer Reviewed by Big Sodus from NY on Thursday, August 9, 2018Maybe the best shoes you'll ever own. These have a leather foot liner that is very comfortable. They do not come with leather laces as do the full priced pair. Just bought a second pair from Sienna. I wear a 9 1/2 D in other shoes but in these Red Wings a size 9 D is just right. Break-in has been easy with both pair. Only the tiny hole punched in the tongue lets you know they are seconds. Apply boot oil 2-3x/year and they'll last for years. Expensive but very high grade shoes and a bargain when bought from Sienna.
