He did complain of ankle pain after a lot of walking in them one day, but might’ve just been the break-in period, because he still likes them.
Also, it should not be a big deal but the rhinestones and the star pattern are not what I would call traditionally masculine design choices for a boy’s snow boot. Given that traditional masculinity is associated with a lot of terrible things, I’m okay with that. But just be aware that they will probably stand out a little for this reason, so not for everyone. -

They also have a tiny rhinestone on each velcro tab....and interesting detail on a BOYS boot. Other than that, the boots were light in the hand - we'll see if that's good or bad. Seem well enough made.
