Definetly not for winter or snow hiking but perfect and light for spring/ summer. Stitched leather is nice for the price. Currently wearing during winter and even though they are thin they are very waterproof with the tongue sealed to the boot all the way to the ankle so very waterproof . Although my feet are fairly cold they hold up in the snow and are doable with a warm pair of socks. Looking forward to using them once winter passes however.
