The adjustable torso and waistbelt ensure the pack fits perfectly every time (even over extra layers), and the main compartment is accessible via the top or a wide-opening front zip panel so that you don't have to totally unpack your bag every time you want something.

Good pockets, well padded on the shoulder straps and belt. Sadly I can't give more than 3 stars because this pack has the smallest waist belt I have ever seen. So, if you are considering this pack and like me have a 38" waist (or if you are bigger)...don't waste your time as you will be sending it back.
Other than the belt which forced me to return the item....the rest seemed fine and well made...just needs to have a note that this really isn't for any reasonably normal sized adult male.
