Versailles Faux Leather Cornice Box - 78"

Not very heavy duty, but looks nice. If you try to put the tiny screws in more than once the material this is made from disintegrates. Had to use glue on a couple parts. It was deeper than I wanted, but was easy to modify.

My husband wanted me to make or buy a topper for over our door wall. My room is a work in progress, but with bar stools in a dark brown vinyl, this
will look nice together. Plus finding a print/pattern I liked for a fabric topper wasn't happening for me. This seems well made, sturdy and the faux leather is realistic looking. One thing I was pleasantly surprised to find when I got it, was that it had antique brass mounting bracket as well as visible brackets that finish the corners and one to hide a middle seam (two pieces due to size) which also has a mount there (so it's dual purpose). Again I have bronze accents in kitchen and lighting fixtures, so it goes together in the room. Don't remember the width of the cornice, but it appears more substantial than I expected, (about 4") which to me is fine. Makes a nice finished look. Oh, and BTW, great price at STP. While I love finding something to help finish my room the way I like, getting a good deal makes it that much sweeter.

Recently renovated our living room, and needed a window treatment to match my new baseball stitched leather couch. This piece matched perfectly. I used it over a valance that was the same color of the stitching. Looks Great!
