Quasi-barefoot concept shoe. Given the name, one would think they'd be somewhat competent for court sport applications... and you'd be wrong. They're really more of a court-shoe aesthetic without any real court specific performance. Lateral stability is poor. The forefoot structure is floppy. You can get a pretty good heel lock with the huarache-style exterior straps, but your forefoot is always going to lag in quick movements. They're a decent travel option as they pack down well, though if you're not accustomed to the barefoot-ish lack of a midsole, your heels will be regretting your footwear choice if you're on concrete and asphalt all day.
And... HOT! Virtually no breathability. So be ready for the clammy all day long. Even with powder and good socks, they're sweat boxes. Be warned. Pretty good construction overall. Just try to keep your wear temps no greater than 60F. Best of luck.
