In the photos, the jacket gives the appearance that it is heavy and very bulky, but the reverse is true. When I first put it on, I was surprised to find it well-fitted, light and warm. An exceptional quality jacket that strays from the current trends. -

This is one a grownup with a sense of style who appreciates quality would be proud to own. The material jacket is made of is quite substantial as is the elbow and shoulder overlay. The storm cuffs are a welcome addition. This is a serious down coat for cold weather, not a lightweight for sure. I am 6'3" 260 with long arms and the 2xl fits perfectly. If I weighed 10 pounds more it would be to small. This jacket like the other 1816 by Remington jackets I own are not cut for those who have too much girth in their midsection. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. A+ product and price.
