The butt blew out on them after less than 10 pitches on sandstone. Sad story. Fit is great though, good for non-activity pants.

I am 5'9" and consider myself to have slightly longer than average legs and a very long torso. These pants are right on the edge of being too short. Outside of that, the material is great, I have been climbing in them and look forward to backpacking and hiking in them when the weather gets a bit warmer. Great pockets and pocket placement. The blue color is vibrant without being obnoxious. I sized up (8) as the waist was a little small in my normal size (6).

Appears as if they are a size 8 also. If you want these pants, go to the store and try them on to save yourself some time. They are cute, no stretch to them at all. Yellow can be seen thru, blue was pretty.

Unfortunately, these run a little small. They are so great I considered making them my "inspiration" pants to lose weight for...but I'm being realistic and sending back haha. Order up 1 size if any of your weight is in your midsection.

I am working on going down a couple of sizes and I chose a size 8, a size that I have only recently begun to wear. I am giving them 5 stars because the sizing is probably a Black Diamond thing and the pants themselves are super cute and sport great pockets. The blue is pretty and looks like it will hide stains fairly well. I found the cut to be flattering, too.
