5.0 out of 5 stars. works for meReviewed by applegrower from Maine on Thursday, September 23, 2021I bought it highly discounted and didn't expect much as it was so inexpensive... BUT it works well for me.
I mostly connect it to a strap on my bicycle handlebar bag or my water bottle carrier both straps are a little wider than the usual watch strap and I was a little worried that the closure can become undone by a load spike on the strap and added a simple string through the rubber ring loop - but thus far not necessary.
Previously I used an old wrist diving compass from US Divers that says it's capsule was made in Finland (I assume S****o) - it's ballparkish true to that one when comparing directions (you can of course not expect the same read-out accuracy). It's a little sensitive to horizontally true positioning - as one might expect... but not bad and within the range I can manage.
It's really pretty good for rough figuring out which way is up and put you back on track when you lost your way.
I am very pleased. -
2.0 out of 5 stars. Very weak magnet.Reviewed by Chris from CT on Friday, September 3, 2021Great concept and well built. The main issue I had with it was a very weak magnet. It took too long to settle on North and still wasn't completely sure once it got there.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great in the desertVerified Buyer Reviewed by Desert Camper from Colorado on Tuesday, April 24, 2018We took our new Primus to Moab last weekend. I couldn't be happier. The handle makes it easy to carry, starting it is a breeze and the temperature range and control is amazing.
