5.0 out of 5 stars. Toughest pants around!Reviewed by RobS from Missouri on Thursday, June 24, 2021While they're not the coolest pants for the summer and they start off a bit stiff, they are the most durable pants I've ever owned.
Unlike jeans and most other pants, you can walk right through multiflora rose bushes in the woods and barely feel it.
And, while I won't say that you can't tear them or put a hole in them, you pretty nearly have to be trying (I've solidly snagged B01s on things hard enough to really get my attention and it's done little or nothing to them--I'm positive the same things would have ripped huge holes in a pair of blue jeans). Plus, because they're a heavy duck/canvas type fabric, small holes and worn spots don't expand rapidly like they do in denim jeans. Also, these pants don't seem to weaken like denim when they get wet.
These are definitely my go-to pants for anything rough, dirty, for hiking though the woods, etc. I never have to hold back because I'm worried about screwing up my pants--they'll take nearly anything you throw at them (besides, they just look better when they've been worn hard).
* Occasionally, people ask how to break these things in. And, honestly, the answer is to just abuse the **** out of them. They're tough AF, so don't be delicate with them (washing them a bunch doesn't seem to break them in nearly as well or fast as just using them--getting them dirty/muddy, crawling around working on your truck/4wheeler, etc.) By the way, protip: when they do get really dirty, hose them down (wash them if you want--but not before you hose off the dirt & grime. Otherwise your other clothes won't be happy. :-) ).
