There were a lot of great reviews on the sock, so for the price, I thought I'd try one. I wear a size 11 and technically, I can stretch it to make the heal fit where it is suppose to, but I' don't think it will be comfortable and I'm not sure it will stay there. The band on the socks I received is loose. I have not worn them yet, but I'm sure it won't stay up. I imagine I can roll the sock down over my boot and it might work that way. On the positive side, the sock is nice and thick.

However, I got a pair that are khaki and green instead of blue and grey, like pictured. They are not as attractive as the picture (the khaki makes them look dirty, but they are very comfortable and warmth is what is making me keep them.

They are not particularly soft on the inside, but the material is very cushion-y and feels great to walk around in. These socks are quite thick, so they may not fit inside tight shoes, but are wonderful inside looser boots; for sleeping in on cold nights; or for just walking around the house on chilly tile floors.
