It's incredibly stretchy and comfortable and lightweight. My only complaint is that it's actually a little too long (even folded over at the top), and I'd say it runs a tiny bit large in the waist as well. I found myself stepping on it all the time. I don't mind it dragging on the floor at home, but when you're walking through an airport or public bathroom or down the street, you'll want this rolled up a bit extra to keep it from dragging/getting stepped on. Or you can tie it (as pictured on the product page), which I didn't try, but in retrospect might be worth it....

The fabric is light and while not sheer I can see light through my legs. For me, it’s perfect to pull on over my swim suit to be restaurant/store appropriate. I’m a size 6-8 on the bottom and curvy and the medium fit well.

Like many maxi skirts, the top is meant to be folded over once. I am 5'4" and when I unfold the top, this is long enough to be a strapless dress. I like the color, so decided to keep it because it fit when I folded it twice. Although it is a little roomy and it kept sliding down my hips.

I like the fact that this particular Carve Designs brand skirt presents without side slits (not a fan of slits on front, back, or sides of skirts). Can be dressed up or down (major plus). The navy ("anchor") blue and the heathery grey color are classic and timeless. This skirt runs quite larger than typical in the waist portion (I am not a small gal by any stretch though not "huge" either and I find that on the navy blue colored skirt, particularly, I need to fold the foldable waist portion several times over and it is still intensely "roomy." It runs longer than typical as well (but because this has a soft "fold-over" waist it is easy enough to accommodate your length preference).
Skirts like these are so comfortable and serviceable while looking classic, timeless, and just terrific.
