I'm fairly slim and I can pull them off. Well, I do have hips! I guess there are some women who may be able to pull these off (or at least pull them up past mid-thigh which is as far as I got), but they aren't in the majority. In my opinion, Columbia missed the boat. Including a zipper in the design would make these pants great. They otherwise seemed as-advertised.

The waist is too small, and the hips and legs too baggy. Returned. They may work well for someone with no hips/ butt to get the waistband over. Super lightweight!

They have one large pocket on the right leg and a small one in the center of the back. I liked the fabric, but the medium was too bulky in the legs and thighs. If I sized down, I was afraid I would not be able to pull them over my hips. So I returned them. I am 5'2' and 120 pounds. If they fit would be a useful pair of pants.

I especially like the zipper pockets for carrying a passport and cash. They truly are featherweight and will fold small if you need to carry them in a backpack.

I wear other pants size xs by same brand that fit fine, and those would be great too if I could put them on, my waist is smaller than hip/butt area which is normal so I feel there’s an issue within the disign.
I’ll try size bigger but I’m afraid the waist will be too lose.
