Only complaint is the length of the trigger mechanism to open the spout, because my hands are apparently much smaller than I thought. It's very difficult for me to hold the trigger on the bottom of the handle, press the latch on the top with my thumb, and support the weight of 3 quarts of boiling water one-handed while I pour!

The whistle is gentle enough that it doesn't wake sleeping children but loud enough that I can hear it from another room. The handle stays cool (even though they warn that it will get hot).
