4.0 out of 5 stars. Made wellVerified Buyer Reviewed by Elsie from Pennsylvania on Thursday, June 6, 2019Very sturdy, comfortable hiking shoes. I also wear them to work standing on hard floors all day I need that extra support. This is my 2nd pair of this brand name. Overall they are made well and I know this pair will last just like my previous pair.

5.0 out of 5 stars. So far so goodVerified Buyer Reviewed by Roxyblue from Burbank on Thursday, May 2, 2019I only hiked once. The only issue is the shoe laces. They don't stay tied. So, I'll invest in another paire of blue ones.
But, the shoes are comfortable and a little water resistant. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Very ComfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Kentucky on Thursday, January 3, 2019These shoes are nice looking and feel great on. They are made small so I had to order a size larger and they fit perfectly.

3.0 out of 5 stars. You get what you pay forReviewed by AdventurerO from Chicago on Friday, November 2, 2018These shoes are cheap, but you get what you pay for. Big and clunky shoes. I have returned them. They also took 7 business days to arrive.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Hiking shoes!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Idaho on Thursday, July 19, 2018Got these for a hiking/camping vacation. Bought them about 6 weeks beforehand in order to break them in. There was no need to do that. I did put a Dr Scholl’s arch and heel support insole in them because I wear an insole in all my shoes. The shoes were extremely comfortable from the first time I wore them. They have held up wonderfully and are still comfortable and functioning well. Felt very sturdy on the hikes. Great purchase.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Nice, but snugVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tig from Florida on Tuesday, June 19, 2018Ordered these sneakers from reading the reviews, but when they arrived and I tried them on they were very snug. I walked in the house with them hoping they would be okay but they weren’t so I sent them back, was really hoping they would work. Excellent price if they fit.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Seem to run smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by TCD dog walker from Ma on Thursday, May 17, 2018I am giving these a five star rating because there is nothing wrong with the product however, they were a little small for me. I am consistently a size 10 and these were snug on the length for me. If you typically wear a size 9 1/2 these would be perfect They seemed very comfortable otherwise.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Construction looks good but...Reviewed by Farm girl from Finger lakes on Friday, February 2, 2018So disappointed. Have old pair of Hi-Tec hiking boots in size 9 that fit great and are still in good shape after 5 winters. The sizing on Bijou boots is totally off. If these are an actual 8 I will eat the shoes. Sending back and warning to order a full size larger than your regular size. Otherwise, they look sturdy and worth the money (under $40). One thing ... size 9 means different things to different makers. For Hi-Tec it is an EU 40; for Merrell it is an EU 43. The Merrells fit.
