5.0 out of 5 stars. Filson quality

This is a beautifully styled jacket of excellent quality, which is a given when it comes to Filson merchandise. There's an inside zipped secure pocket that seems large enough for a cellphone. Generous side pockets have snaps and warm lining. Zipper works well. I use a silk scarf around the neck opening, because the very thick, genuine shearling collar can get itchy for me. The scarf looks good with it. There's a leather neck strap under the shearling collar. The down fill is quite thick and cozy. The leather yoke is a perfect match to the cloth fabric and is functional plus classy. I followed this jacket at Filson at full price. Then STP here had a supply that seemed to sell out. I was delighted to see them available again. I've wanted the perfect bomber jacket for decades. As for size, I ordered two and kept the smaller one - not because it runs big, but because I don't layer and wear just tshirts. If it's too baggy, the cold air blows right in.

This jacket is amazing! Feels both utilitarian and luxurious. I am 5'9" and have long arms and it fits me just right - size M. Super warm.

It took me about a month to commit to the purchase of this jacket, even at the reduced STP price. (Still QUITE spendy). But I am totally glad I did, as I love it! The jacket itself would be 5 stars, I'm withholding that last one due to the relative high price. High quality, and well made IN USA!
