They were a bit snug in the toe box, but I just loosened the front strap and they worked great. I love the large opening and heel strap as it's easier to get on. Great product, great price!

The top flap opens wide for easy and fast entry. The velcro strap fastens securely. The heel loop is easy to grab. Sizing is right on. I have worn a size 40 in Lake and Pearl Izumi shoes and this size 40 seems comparable. The toe box is a teeny bit long but that shouldn't be a problem. I would say the shoe is slightly narrow but that may be intentional for racers who ride sockless.
