They are European sizing which I have found to fit better and be more consistent in sizing. I wear an 8 and ordered a 39. I wore them all day at work and had a lot of compliments. They were super comfortable and very warm and well made.very happy with these boots. The color is not as green as the photo.

Good for skinny calves like mine. Can just get my fleece pj's in them as that is what I was wearing when they arrived. I do have skinny but muscular calves. Seems that the darker brown squares in the upper may be the micro fiber. The rest is not the most supple soft leather I have felt but they are not pleather. Rieker is a high end footwear company and these are a good deal. I have another pair of Remontes and they are the most comfortable boots I have.

It is my own fault that I did not read closely enough, but that is a lot of money for pleather. I worry they won't look so cute for long.

The color combination goes with a surprising number of outfits. I got compliments the first day I wore them.
