The leather is good quality and is the color is as shown on the web page. They look nice and are just what I was looking for in a winter boot. I normally wear a 7 and these were a 7 - 7.5 - slightly loose but fine with thicker socks.

They are super comfortable right out of the box. They are lined with wool so are really warm and there is ample space in the toe box. The height is perfect for slacks as some boots are too low and scratch my leg above the sock. The lug soles are great for ice and I ordered the brown which has a nice sort of distressed look. I could not be happier with this purchase.

The fit is a bit tight and stiff and am hoping they will stretch; I bought the size 40 for my size nine foot. Currently can only wear with a thinner wool sock or even barefoot. The rough leather does seem to get scratched easily and will put a coat of something on them to help with that. Very well made and should last.

I wear a 10 and purchased a 10 but they were very snug. Felt like someone was squeezing all around my foot. I then ordered an 11 was a little loose, but with chunky socks they will be fine. I believe these boots will provide a lifetime of comfortable use.

Good on the snow but they don't look like snow boots. Very warm. Feel well made. Leather appears nice, but durable, too." Ecco fans will not be disappointed.
