Closeouts. A durable, waterproof layer for rainy days and fishing excursions, Patagonia's River Salt jacket has a plethora of features to keep water from soaking through. The four-layer H2No® fabric is this jacket's first line of defense against moisture, and sealed seams and a DWR finish further prevent wetting out. Add on easy-seal cuffs and a draining hem, and you've got yourself a new favorite!

Like all my other Pat clothing, I am certain it will last a very long time. The construction is super quality. I am only 5' and many jackets are too long, but this one is perfect and the upper body has enough give so that my arms do not feel constricted.

Went out in a downpour shortly after it arrived and it kept me completely dry! Synched up the sleeve cuffs and they also performed equally well. A couple of minor issues though. There isn't a rod holder like in the men's and the zipper catches on the material the last 4-5 inches.
Lastly, the description stated that there were pit zipps and there are not.
