The fit and compression felt great. I finished the 12mi. day with sweaty feet, but the socks still performed well and were noticeably less damp than some other pairs. Looking forward to using them in the fall and winter.

The sock has real nice cushion in the toe and heal area and is thin with woven in vents if you will throughout the rest of the sock. This is my everyday sock. Surprisingly they are not hot even though they are wool and they do completly control oder. I love the cool designs as well. I own at least 20 pair of smartwool socks and couldnt be happier with them. ST has great pricing and a great selection too. I've read some other reviews and they say these are factory defect...had I not read that I would never have known. I've not seen a flaw in any of the ones I have. Buy with confidence. Make a great gift.
