He is 6'3" and has a 31 inch waist, 42 inch chest, he is tall and thin, not super muscle bound or large framed. The size large while it did button was very tight in the shoulders and wrists, unfortunately there is no XL replacement. It is a nice shirt. If you wear a medium buy the large and it should fit perfectly.
