First, 6'1"/185lbs, athletic build. Usually buy between a medium and large depending on fit. The large was huge. The medium is plenty long in both arms and body, and is still big enough to comfortable wear a base layer under it without feeling constricting or looking like athletic apparel. I could probably almost wear a small if I wanted it to be very fitted. The inside as a velvety feeling to it that make the whole shirt feel very high end. I ended up ordering a second one.

Obermeyer historically is great quality and holds true here. Nice to wear and comfortable and a cut above.

This shirt is the perfect size for a mid-weight, wool undergarment and a ski jacket. I have plenty of room for easy, unrestricted movement, and yet the shirt is not too bulky for the layers on top. It is nice and long, with no chance of pulling out, even with a lot of movement. Very comfortable and warm. Highly recommended.

Supremely soft indeed! This fleece shirt is so soft inside, it's like staying in bed - with the world's best flannel sheets. Well tailored, attractive color (blue) and true to size. An instant favorite!

About Obermeyer

When Klaus Obermeyer became one of Aspen’s first ski school instructors more than 60 years ago, he had no idea that his lifelong passion would eventually lead him to start an outdoor apparel company. Among Klaus’s first innovations was a down ski jacket he created at home using recycled goose down from an old comforter. Designed and tested on snow-covered slopes in the Colorado Rockies, Obermeyer ski jackets would soon gain a reputation for offering superior weather protection, warmth and style. Although Obermeyer ski pants and jackets have come a long way in the last half a century, the tradition of making top-notch outerwear for skiers and riders remains the foundation of this brand, which is still headquartered in Aspen to this day.
