I assumed they were insulated, because the description and reviews talk about "warmth". There is a little bit of a fleece like lining on the inside, but these are not insulated. These are more like spring pants or winter if you are using a few layers of long underwear underneath. I was going to return them, but for the price, they are a good deal

I'm 5'9" 175lbs, I wear 34in waist, 30 length in most jeans. Sometime I wear 36in waist, 29 length in dress pants. The large was quite snug in the waist and the hips. i thought the material was great. Stretchy, comfortable. Inner liner was soft warm.

Medium is a little smaller than other ski pant mediums, a little tight in the waist and a little short. Good construction but I returned them due to size.

Runs small but once you get the right size it's awesome for a reasonable price. I am 5'7" 180lbs. and the large, short fits great.
