It did take a bit of breaking in for the crown (top) of my foot. I have high arches and the leather needed to stretch to accommodate comfortably. I bought a 1/2 size larger because I am between a B and Wide. This did seem to help.

The comfort is what I expect from Ariat, as I have many boots by them. These are my first "fat baby" style I have ever bought. Im not a big fan of the roundness of the boot, I prefer square toe. BUT I specifically bought these for work, walking on rocky, uneven surfaces in the dirt and mud. I picked these for the wide sole on them. Im confident I will have thsese for years to come.
