Dont buy unless you can cobbleVerified Buyer Reviewed by Northern Ohio outdoor lover from Ohio on Friday, August 26, 2016When these sandals arrived I noticed the buckle woud not go in the hole and then realized the buckle prong was not fully attached to the buckle and as I tried to fix it the whole thing came apart. I returned the sandals and told the customer service rep about the defect. Because I liked everything else about the sandals I did an exchange and specifically asked the customer rep to make sure the exchange pair did not have the same defect. Well it did, only on the buckle closest to the toe. Clearly, this is a material defect. Rather than go through the return hassle I fixed the buckle by crimping it with a pliers and it did the trick. Unless you want to do your own cobbling, don't buy these.

The colors are beautiful and out the ordinary. I ordered the gray and the brown. They look great with anything -skirts, dresses, pants, . . .- The only reason I did not give a 5 star score is the size. I ordered a 39 which is supposed to be 81/2 to 9 -per info on the site-, but fits more like an 8 (a bit tight- I normally wear 81/2), but since the leather will stretch, I decided to keep them. Overall they are beautiful and affordable.

They felt tight and narrow, and my feet hurt. After wearing them for one evening, I could tell that they had already started to give a little bit. After a few more wears, they are like butter on my feet. The Italian leather is very forgiving. My only complaint is that the footbed is flat without arch support, so they aren't as comfortable as I'd like, but they're darn close. I have the silver/grey color, and it's neutral enough to wear with navy, black, and jeans. The only color I probably won't pair it with is light brown, but I probably could in a pinch.
