4.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect Mid-Weight Ski GlovesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Tahoe on Friday, December 23, 2016I tend to get cold hands skiing, and I wear mittens when it gets below 20. These did very well at 30 degrees and I expect them to be comfortable (with liners) when it gets into the 20's. I've also used them on a 45 degree bike ride where my hands did sweat a little.
Quality and workmanship seem excellent. I really prefer leather palms over synthetic, and the Gore brand speaks for itself. I will end up throwing a little leather conditioner/waterproofer on the palms for good measure. I'm also adding wrist straps with some light paracord so they will be harder to lose on the chair lift.
I bought the XL, and my hands measure 8 3/4" around the palm. They are a little snug with the liners.
