4.0 out of 5 stars. PeacoatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mark D from Cambridge on Wednesday, October 12, 2016Well made and sizing is spot on except like all 1816 I have bought the sleeves are at least 3 inches too long I disagree with previous review that the wool is cheap, it is dense knit but light , more like Icebreaker wool than your typical wool peacoat. It is very soft and the finishing is top notch. At the STP price I kept it and will have the sleeves shortened

1.0 out of 5 stars. Poor quality and sizingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Lafayette, Ca on Sunday, October 9, 2016I was disappointed I had to send this back. This was, by far, the least impressive garment I have received from 1816 by Remington's line. The fit was HUGE, I'm 5'10" and 180lbs, and usually wear a large. His was like an XXL. I understand it is an overcoat, but it would have been large for me even wearing a puffy jacket. Also, it just seemed thin and "cheap", not in line with the majority of their other quality items.
