I was a bit hesitant to order these capris based on the way the leg is tapered. It is as pictured with enough room to still move a bit. If someone has particularly muscular calves, which I do not, the taper may be a tight. I typically wear an 8-10 and ordered the M which fits comfortably. The wide waist band has a snap closure that can be adjusted to fit a bit looser should one need to. I am not sure it was meant to fit that way but it works. I ordered the light color and it is the same as depicted. Overall satisfied.
