3.0 out of 5 stars. Good quality but odd fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Colorado walker from Colorado on Sunday, April 30, 2017This looks good from the front with a flattering fir. But, the back, although wool fabric, idoes not contour the body at all. Add to that the elastic bottom hem line and you get a baggy back which rides up. If this was way cheaper I would have kept it but for a cardigan/ sweater at merino prices I couldn't live with the design flaw.

5.0 out of 5 stars. This is essential for winter running in OhioVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Ohio on Tuesday, March 14, 2017This is the third Smartwool jacket I have purchased. They are all still in excellent shape, I bought the second one in another color as a backup and then a year later bought a third because I run quite a bit in the snow and cold and this jacket is perfect. If the temp is in the 20-30s I wear a tank top under it and Im perfectly comfortable. If it's in the teens or below I add a light long sleeved shirt under the jacket. I love that the chest area has the weatherproof material but the arms and back has the material that allows extra heat to escape, making it very comfortable. This prevents me from getting too hot.
On Saturday we ran 20 miles in 13 mph winds and the temps in the lower teens. My body never felt cold, I only had to worry about the extreme cold on my face for the time we were out there. I highly recommend this jacket for anyone out there braving the elements during winter. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Great Lightweight Layering JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by KJ from Pacific NW on Friday, March 10, 2017Love the inside chest side zip pocket to hold my phone or glasses and love the thumb loops too. Warning for long armed women... I am 5'3" with short arms and do not find the sleeves to be too long but just right (often times too long of sleeves are a problem for me but not with this jacket). It's easy to launder, does not wrinkle and seems to be holding up nicely, meaning, no pilling or snags. I wore it everyday during an unseasonably chilly weeklong stay in LA. My only caution would be to those who dislike material around or next to their neck and chin. This jacket is made in such a way that even when it is unzipped the collar is stiff enough so that it will not lay down onto the shoulder area but remains upright and brushes against the chin. This may be a deal breaker for some. The upshot is that the jacket's stiffness yet stretchiness keeps it firmly in place around the butt and the gut area so that it does not ride up and create a bunching effect around the middle. Translation, I do not have to be constantly pulling it down to put it back in its proper place. I do not find the wool to be itchy but very warm and comfortable. Looking forward to using this jacket as a layer for spring hiking too.

3.0 out of 5 stars. SmartWoolVerified Buyer Reviewed by outdoor girl from Wi on Tuesday, February 21, 2017Ordered this jacket in a size small, which is a good fit with the SmartWool brand. I am returning the jacket for two reasons:
1. Ordered the pink color--which is pretty; however, there is a bright orange zipper (front and pockets) and a bright orange inside collar when unzipped. All pink would have been doable--orange highlights not my thing.
2. There is a slight drop to the back section but it also has elastic--weird fit. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Smart DesignVerified Buyer Reviewed by royandronnie from VA on Tuesday, February 21, 2017I won't be able to try this jacket for some time, but it appears to fill a need I've had for a long time: a jacket that's warmer in front than in back, for backpacking. Way past time someone designed one like this! In the meantime, it's a sleek and fairly sexy-looking piece of clothing with that essential feature, thumbholes. No winter sport top should be without them! And it's Smartwool. What more do you need.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Versatile JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Wyoming on Tuesday, January 17, 2017I love the versatility of this jacket. I've worn it as an outer layer as well as under a heavier jacket during a very cold spell. This is the second SmartWool Corbet Jacket that I've purchased!
