Hands down my favorite beanie. Super light and fits my smallish head perfectly, although it has so much stretch I'm sure it would fit you bighead folks just as well ; )

The beanie is well made but would fit a child better than an adult. It doesn’t stay over the ears.

Very thin and light but warm and stylish.

I love this beanie. It is very thin, yet super warm (as you would expect from merino wool). Well worth the discounted STP price! Got a second one in different color after realizing the great quality.

BTW, I wear a 6 5/8 hat size, and this beanie fits great. That said, it is stretchy, so could easily fit a wide range of head sizes.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great for bald guys

I bought this for my husband who shaves his head bald. It gets chilly in the winter and needs some coverage (though not by hair). My husband says this is surprisingly warm for how thin it is, and because it’s nice and thin, he will be able to fold it up easily to go in a pocket. He loves the striping and of course the great price getting it from STP.

Works good under a ski helmet over a bald head

About Outdoor Research

The concept for Outdoor Research was devised in 1981 when climber Ron Gregg’s planned ascent of Denali was cut short, ending prematurely with his frostbitten partner being airlifted off a glacier. The cause was a faulty pair of gaiters. During his descent, Gregg resolved himself to create better gear, a resolution that soon led him to build the first pair of award-winning Outdoor Research gaiters. The concept was simple: Make outdoor apparel and gear with a clear focus on reliability. In the many years since, this brand has continued to blaze new trails with cutting-edge products that now include Outdoor Research gloves, jackets, backpacks and Outdoor Research hats, all engineered to exceed expectations in the most demanding conditions on the planet.
