5.0 out of 5 stars. Great hiking socksVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rich from Oregon on Sunday, July 22, 2018I don't know what makes these factory seconds, but I was totally happy with them. True to size and the price was right.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Never ordering from Sierra Trading Post againReviewed by Anonymous from California on Wednesday, May 16, 2018Order these socks and expected wool. But if you read the full description it says you may get wool or [...] nylon. Very close to false advertising. Well I'm done with this company. They say satisfaction guaranteed but if I return these it will cost me $6.95 and not worth the cost for socks.
Very disappointed, no customer satisfaction! -
1.0 out of 5 stars. Not as advertisedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from California on Thursday, May 10, 2018These are not wool. The label on the packaging indicates that of the materials found in the sock, there is not one percentage of wool. Good for the price, but not as advertised.

1.0 out of 5 stars. No wool at allReviewed by Anonymous from Pa on Thursday, April 26, 2018I was excited by the merino wool socks however when I received the socks, just like other reviewer mentioned it contains 0% wool. So don't buy these deceiving described socks.

1.0 out of 5 stars. 0% woolReviewed by Frank from Kansas City on Thursday, April 12, 2018The three pairs of "Merino wool" socks I ordered showed up with out one single speck of wool. They're totally synthetic, and in my experience that means sweaty feet and blisters.
Now I see that the spec description of these Merino Wool socks, includes a disclaimer that the Merino Wool socks they send you could be part wool, OR they might look the same, but just be polyester and nylon after all... pretty much like you could pick up at Dollar General.
"hefty dose of wicking, temperature-regulating merino wool," or actually, well NO WOOL of any kind at all. Apparently it's a roll of the dice.
Disappointing, STP. -

4.0 out of 5 stars. Fits well and very comfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by GW from California on Wednesday, December 6, 2017I purchased these socks for fall/spring cycling. It is warm without being too warm. I like that it is easy care: cold wash and tumble dry low. It did shrink a little bit after first wash.
Even tho' these are factory 2nds, I did not find any functional defects. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. Wigwam socksVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Florida on Wednesday, April 19, 2017Maybe I have a bit of a sock fetish, but I find that good socks are always worth it. Only thing better is a good deal on good socks. These are well-made of quality materials and fit my needs for a warm-weather sock that provides cushioning without holding too much heat and moisture. These socks do everything the ad says.
