Comfortable, really stylish, and the fabric looks like it will be great in all weather. I purchased them because the tall was on sale and I can easily hem them with my sewing machine. However, if you don't intend on sewing a hem, you have to be VERY tall. I am 5'6' and the shorts go past my knees. The legs flop about 4 inches past my toes.

Even though I ordered the short, they were still a couple of inches too long and they gapped a little big in the back at the waist. Great pants for cooler weather, a little thicker than some. Wish I could have kept them.

I've been looking for good hiking/travel pants for years, but have a hard to fit shape. These ones fit like a glove, are very comfortable, and don't have too high of a waist. I ordered the short (I'm 5'3) and they are perfect with hiking boots or flats. Also, you can dress these up or down.

The long size is great because I have long legs. The length of the shorts is perfect for women. The material is perfect - not too heavy, not too lightweight and seem like they'll be resistant to water and stains. I'll be spending a lot of time hiking this spring and can't wait to give these a try! I recommended them to my daughter who also needs longer lengths and is built like me.
