5.0 out of 5 stars. Brilliantly practical

For years I've sought a cup/mug that would 'nest' in my bowl (1st generation ZipLock storage bowl), AND would be large enough to accommodate the 4 oz iso-butane fuel canisters so all of my kitchen 'kit' would fit in my pot. It finally does!!!

My first concern with this thing was it's ability to hold its shape when filled with hot liquids - no problem, plus it insulates amazingly well. I can usually hold it with a bare hand. It doesn't seem to retain odor as I've used it for coffee, followed by soup, followed by hot cider, followed by coffee . . . and I can't really pick up flavors of the previous contents.

This thing is large enough to function as a bowl for many folk, and it cleans super easy. After rinsing with hot water and shaking, it's almost completely dry. I believe this has been my best $3 purchase in decades.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Works a Peach

Love this cup. I actually cut the little handle off and just hold it to warm my hands with my morning coffee, something I could not do with the Titanium cup it replaced. Added bonus no burned lips. Only a little heavier in real world terms than the old cup but much more user friendly, cleans easy to. Cons; Not really easy to fold and unfold, I don't think it would get easier with use.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice large size

This can easily hold a can of soup. It is not a silicone cup, it is a soft plastic, but more rigid than silicone so it holds it's shape better. I have not used it yet, I hope it holds up well to the heat.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Cup !

I appreciate that this cup reduces to half size for packing. It is somewhat stiff to unfold but I think it is necessary to hold it's structure. I wish the little tabs were larger. I'm thinking that buy using it more , it will become more familiar in time. For the price point I think it is going to be a very useful product and will get used alot.
