It was a perfect fit and of course, true to Carhartt's quality, an excellent buy. It washes well, no shrinkage. Perfect for layering and can be worn to work, weekends, or just around the house. If there were other colors, I would purchase several. This sweatshirt make a perfect Christmas gift.

Ordered two, in brown and green which is darker green than on my screen which even better. Could not find any sign indicating that the shirts are 2nds. The only minor disappointing was about sizing. I am 5'9" 160 lb (down from 175) and chest 39, what according to all the Carhartt's measurements seemed like solid Medium size. In chest and neck and length-wise the shirts really fit ok, but in waist they are a bit too wide (so I can understand those reviewers who 3-star'ed this product). Well, it would be nice if this sweatshirt had more elegant cut, but this is not a dress shirt - I can live with it as is.

He's usually a large but reviews mentioned that this sweatshirt runs large so I ordered the medium. He was swimming in it. I'd say that the medium was more like a large or XL Tall. He's 5'8" and the hem came down well below his hips and the sleeves puddled around his wrists. I'm sorry it didn't work because the fabric is exceptionally heavy, the style is nice and the color (red) was gorgeous.
