Excellent Fit / Smelled Like GasolineReviewed by dpt from USA on Sunday, March 17, 2019The Obermeyer Bombshell jacket offers a sleek fit that is hard to find in a down jacket (this is hypoallergenic down alternative). It has comfortable features at the waist and arms that allow for ease with movement. If you size-up, the fit is less sleek but in some ways more chic for apres ski because it looks more cozy, less sporty, and the hood is bigger. I ordered the Size 8 in Copper Beach, but had to reluctantly return the jacket because it reeked of gasoline. I've ordered other Obermeyer jackets and products and never had anything weird like this happen before.

I’m 5’3” 118lbs small build. I ordered the size 6 for a little layering room. Perfect fit. The color isn’t stark white, more like a grey/white.

Beautiful, well-made coat!Reviewed by Jennifer from Reno-Tahoe on Wednesday, November 8, 2017I purchased the white HydroBlock Sport Bombshell for skiing: It appears there may be a difference from the regular Bombshell. It was hard to tell where the coat would fall because the model appears to be tall and has a long torso, and I was concerned it would be too short. However, when I put it on it falls to mid-bottom. I am 5'5" and 130lbs, athletic build. The size 4 - my regular size fit fine, but I ordered a size 6 so I can layer clothes, and the 6 fits beautifully, too. The coat is beautiful, flattering, super warm and functional. The faux-fur hood liner is great quality and actually feels like real fur. I am very pleased with this purchase, and I recommend it to others.
