They could be casual or dressy despite the lower heel. I was concerned about getting them on and off since there is no zipper, but it does not present a problem. Leather is of high quality. I am very pleased.

I ordered size 8 and these are too small for me to wear. And, for me to get my foot in, I need to unbuckle the piece of leather that runs around it. I would prefer either slip on or zip up, but not a buckle closure.

The 7s I couldn't even get on. The 8s fit on my foot, but were too tight/narrow at the toes, and I have pretty normal "average" feet. And they're quite flat and hard on the bottom, but insoles wouldn't fit inside, so I suppose would need to size up yet again. Returned.
They're pretty and seem nice, but the sizing is very difficult. -

They can be slippery in ice/snow. There is virtually no traction in the soles, so not practical for wintry locations. Otherwise, a great deal.

The overall construction of this boot is stiff. I am narrow and this was form fitting snug. Leather does stretch, but with the heel cut they placed inside and the pressure points, I knew I would never be able to break it is. It ends just slightly above the ankle and looks very smart to be warm even for business casual wear. Anyone with anything but a narrow foot would be unable to jam their foot inside. If you have shoe stretchers then grab these while they are available.

This is the second pair of boots of this brand that I have returned due to them being so narrow. I will not be ordering any of their products in the future as it is a waste of my time.
