But Calphalon wanted 3x this price for this size pan. I already had a 1.5qt and a 2qt pan and wanted a 3qt pan. The price on this in a pre Christmas sale, was $19.99, so I bought it. Have used it a couple of times and it's fine. Long term, who knows. But it is black, which does not go with the rest of my pans or my kitchen. In the photo I guess I mistook it for a shiny stainless steel pan. [g]. So, I am keeping it. I'll try to come back and rate it after I've used it awhile.
