These shorts proved to be more than sufficient for me ( at least my level ). They were great in the water and dried quickly upon exit. They were helpful on short bike rides although for longer ones I would recommend biking shorts. There was just the right amount of padding to allow for comfortable running. I am very pleased with this purchase- especially with the sale price

They are a little shorter than I would prefer, but the waist fits exactly how it should. Great when running, and are more than adequate when riding (not much different than my cycling shorts).
