Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. Good quality, well made, a bit funky looking

It's always guesswork buying shoes sight unseen but these worked out very well. I'm still in the process of breaking them in but they seem to be adapting to my feet very well (or vice versa). As far as I can tell they run true to size. Meaning, I took others' advice and ordered up but found that wasn't necessary. So, it's either thick socks or an insole for me, or no socks and let 'em slip. All in all, pretty nice product.

Great shoes. Look, feel and fit perfect. Many compliments. Like the other Chippewa loafers these are missive do. Order one full size down. I wear a 10 and ordered the 9- perfect!
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable but sturdy

These are now some of my favorite shoes. The fit is spot on. The Vibram sole is pretty substantial for a shoe of this style without looking clunky. I am reminded of the top-quality Chippewa shoes and boots from 30 years ago...hopefully these last like the old ones did.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Returned for fit

Unfortunately I had to return these shoes due to fit. I am a size 11M, and ordered a half size down as reviews of Chippewa shoes stated that they run large. For some reason the right shoe fit perfectly, but the left one was too tight. They seemed to be exceptionally well made. Disappointing.
