Fit: it has the excellent Royal Robbins relaxed and generous fit (not a slim cut). It has a mild shirttail hem but the tails are not very long so it's good for wearing un-tucked. If you have long arms or torso, size up.
Fabric: tough but light and thin. A little bit of stretch but not gossamer like some nylon vented shirts. Flat not glossy surface; not as glossy as some polyester but not as flat a finish as most cotton.
Color: very good medium dark blue with no purple or teal tinge. The pewter grey is light enough fore decent contrast with dark jacket, but in person it's not as light a grey as it appears online. Not a substitute for a white shirt.
Details: Excellent Royal Robbins as usual. Great collar shape and the collar holds it's shape better than lightweight nylon tech shirts which makes this RR shirt more versatile for stretching to business casual. Great symmetry of pockets, and good storage pocket details. The rolled up sleeve keeper details are more nicely finished than most and don't look odd. Nice job.
--My work day requires mildly strenuous outdoor travel on trails where you need a cooling tech outdoors shirt, but on the same day I will be in the office or a staff mtg wearing a jacket, so it's good to find a shirt that bridges both.
