5.0 out of 5 stars. Tough Garment at Bargain Price

I found these true-to-fit, even a bit forgiving at the waist because of the stretchiness of the fabric. The outside is very smooth like most polyester technical garments, but the inside has a brushed texture making these a bit on the warm side for the height of summer, but more comfortable agains the leg in more moderate temps.

I spend a lot of time on the river, and *in* it, so I really appreciate the cargo pockets. For carrying things I cannot afford to lose, like keys and wallet which I keep in a small waterproof sack, the decently sized zippered pocket is a godsend, and you can keep a couple of bars or other less critical items in the less secure velcro cargo pocket.

They dry very fast in the sun and shade, and UPF factor is nice, as well.

I have two pairs which I used as a professional river guide this season, hundreds of hours kneeling in a canoe, falling down wet river banks, sitting on rough surfaces, and participating in water rescues, so I put them through the paces over the last 6 months, and apart from some discoloration on the darker pair (fading on the top thigh/knee area), there is little to no detectable wear.

These pants fit great and are comfortable; the pockets are really nice and useful. The only complaint is that the zipper gets stuck at the top when unzipping.

Bought these for my son and liked the style of the pants, but he cannot come close to buttoning them. Sending back.
