5.0 out of 5 stars. Works great in sand, as advertisedReviewed by Anonymous from On the CAPE on Monday, July 4, 2016Bought this in the winter in anticipation of summer. Used it today for the first time and it worked great. Actually stacked two rather heavy kayaks atop one another and put the gear inside and was able to roll all of it down the walkway to the sand's edge. There, the double load was too heavy for beach sand, but one at a time worked fine, the wheels are wide enough and springy enough not to sink uselessly into the sand. You can push or pull, depending on where you position the cart - be sure to strap the boat to it with the two included canvas straps. Seems to me the instructions said the straps did not come with it, but mine did. It will not work well without the straps!
The rubber wheels did smell when it first arrived, but that is no longer an issue. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. sturdy wheels for a 16' colemanVerified Buyer Reviewed by utah john from utah on Friday, March 4, 2016Needed something to lug the old Coleman red canoe -it weighs about 90 lbs- this cart is well designed with a stabilizer leg that folds back when the canoe is set on top. the inflated tires are great for moderate terrain. this makes life easier to get the canoe to the water. as far as the tire smell, it is not a big deal- unless you want to bring the cart inside the house.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Tote the kayakVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Pennslyvania on Wednesday, December 30, 2015I found this product to be exactly as advertised. Assemble was very easy, and the cart functions exactly as described. Design a yak cart, strap the yak on and wheel it. Good product.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Awkward to store and stinky, but it worksVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Pasco, WA on Tuesday, August 4, 2015I am glad someone mentioned how stinky the tires are: as soon as this arrived, I opened the box and put the wheels outside. We store the cart outside, too They really stink.
The cart is awkward to store because it doesn't collapse much. On the plus side, though, that also means it won't fold up while you're trying to load your boat.
We use this for an 80# canoe. It makes moving the boat very easy, and the stinky tires handle uneven terrain well. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't have a sense of smell or who can store it somewhere other than an enclosed space. -

2.0 out of 5 stars. Wow what a stinkVerified Buyer Reviewed by johnny fisherman from colorado on Tuesday, July 21, 2015The cart works well and is easy to assemble. Its easy to set up and tie down the kayak. The price was right but the smell was awful from the rubber tires. Even with it boxed up it still stunk up the house. On the first trip it sat in the cab of my truck on a hot afternoon it took several days for the smell to leave the truck. It smells like mothballs on steroids. The price was right and quality was good I had to really ding it because of the smell.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Cart totally stinksReviewed by Kevin F from Raleigh, NC on Monday, July 13, 2015I haven't used this yet so I can't write a review on how it perfroms. I can tell you however that you can smell this thing before you ever open the box. I'm not sure what the tires are made of but they reek. I thought maybe it was just a matter of having to let them air out for awhile but it's been two weeks and my garage smells like the tires. The smell is tolerable but I'm almost at the point to where I'm about to keep this outside.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Handy, dandy cartVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Vermont on Sunday, July 12, 2015This cart works great. It rides smoothly, is easy to attach. The tires have a strong odor. Only problem I can identify with the cat]rt.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Cart is great but the tires smell awful!!!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Georgia on Sunday, June 14, 2015The cart assembles easily and the swing-down prop works great. Tie-down straps are included and work easily, better than ratchet straps. The only problem--typical of any rubber wheel products made in China-- is the awful stench of the recycled rubber. The cart cart has been sitting outside for two months in the hot Georgia sun and rain and still smells to high heaven. I hope a few baptisms in river mud will help tone down the odor.
