Closeouts. Love looking at the stars while you're deep in the backcountry? The Sierra Designs' Nightwatch 2 tent is your perfect match! This tent opens up fully on top to let you view the stars while still protecting you from bugs under a layer of No-See-Um® mesh. If and when the rain comes, simply move the rain fly back over the top for full coverage.
- Three pitch configurations include full rain protection, partial Nightwatch and full Nightwatch
- Two side fair-weather doors (usable when fly is not on)
- One large front door with rain flap and awning to protect from moisture
- Side vestibule awnings (when top is up) for gear storage
- Gear awnings accessible from both inside and outside the tent
- Night Glow accessory illuminates your tent by diffusing light from your headlamp
- Water-resistant 75 denier polyester taffeta fly
- Water-resistant 70 denier nylon taffeta floor
- 20 denier nylon No-See-Um® mesh body fabric for ventilation and bug protection

Love this tent!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Michigan on Thursday, October 4, 2018Although this tent doesn’t fit the traditional “standard” of a backpacking tent (having the vestibule) this is exactly why I love this tent. I hate the feeling of being cooped up underneath the rain fly even if there is a chance of rain over night. This tent allows such greater freedom to enjoy the views of your backpacking trip even if you are stuck in your tent for whatever reason (weather, bugs, etc). Almost considered buying two because I don’t know when another design like this will come along. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an alternative to the traditional vestibule design.

The rain fly is permanently attached to the tent which doesn't allow to take it off for less weight. And, the rain fly does not extend to cover the entire tent. My sleeping back got wet at the end of the tent on a recent 10-day trip in the Bighorn Mountains in Wyoming.
