He may get six months out of a pair of quality logger jeans. He gets over two years out of these pants. The problem is they aren't available in his size all the time so I usually stock up when they do become available. He likes them because even after washing them every time he wears them after two years they still look good with nice creases. They repel dirt and tree sap well also. I have two pair for myself and love the fit and the feel after a couple of washings.

But I found them to serve well as a winter dress slack. The heavy twill fabric does well keeping you warm, buttons for the rear pockets, and the well defined leg creases make them appear dressier than maybe intended. The construction was excellent and fit was true to size.

He likes them because they look sharp, wick sweat well, but mostly because he can't seem to destroy them. I have to wait until Sierra has them on sale and then order four or more pairs at a time. He gets them for Christmas and his birthday. We both win...he gets pants he loves and I can get inexpensive presents he can always use. -

I can't find a flaw with them and the heavier canvas type fabric is very durable.
